Why is Acrobat XI Pro from CC asking for a serial

$

I installed Acrobat XI Pro as part of my Creative Cloud subscription. A few days ago Acrobat told me I ran out of of trial days and that I needed to add a serial number to continue using it. I do not have a serial number for Acrobat; just a CC license.

When I look at the Creative Cloud application, it tells me that Acrobat Xi Pro is installed and up to date.

I need to fix this urgently so I cna launch Acrobat again. How do I solve the problem?

Thanks for the help.

Adobe uninstalled during an update!

My [2 month old HP Pavilion, Windows 7, new from HP Online Store] computer was running a normal Adobe update on 9-8-13. First it 'uninstalled previous version, then started to install newest version', when my browser froze. When I rebooted my computer, there were no error messages.

I honestly don't remember if it was Acrobat X or XI.

My computer did not tell me of this problem until today!

Now Adobe isn't even ON my computer. The error is too old to use backup and restore.

HP cannot help me because it came pre-installed and they have no record of a product code for re-installment.

Someone PLEASE help me. this is NOT a free product.

Hello. I would like to know how adobe users can distill pdfs now that distiller has discontinued. The forums mention a combination with Adobe Acrobat® desktop software and Adobe LiveCycle® PDF Generator ES server software can distill pdfs. Is this accessible for Mac users?

Cannot activate adobe acrobat 8.0 pro

Hi,

i get an activation Error code 159:41. i am trying to install it from the original disc on windows 7 x64 machine alongside my copy of CS 6 (which does not contain acrobat). I tried activating it over the phone and got a unknown error. I spent more than a hour chatting with the tech support who came with multiple solutions:

1. Tell me to uninstall/shutdown/reinstall acrobat 3-4 times and try activating the serial. Even though i get the same error.

2. Not committable with windows 7.

3. CS 3 activation servers are shutdown.

4. Suggest that i buy a new version of acrobat.

5. My copy of acrobat 8.0 was activated today Nov 9, 2013 even though my profile says otherwise.

6. Refer the Adobe forums to get the issue resolved.

7. Relevant team is offline

I am frustrated with the whole experience.

Could someone help me please.

I updated windows 8 to 8.1 and the PDF printer with IE 11 stopped working.

Is there a known problem and fix for this issue. This all worked fine until the Windows 8.1 upgrade.

Apple Mavericks Compatible Issue

I use FileMaker Pro 12.  I have several databases that use "interactive PDF files" (Container type files).  Since upgrading my OS operating system to Mavericks, My FileMaker applications crashes when I try to use a database with"Interactive PDF's".  FileMaker works great on a second computer with mavericks but with no copies of Adobe on it.  (In other words it uses Preview.app for viewing PDF files.  I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro on the machine that crashes.  After working several hours with the FileMaker Support team we have isolated it down to Adobe.

Anyone else with this problem?

Acrobat XI Pro - "Not Responding" error

Acrobat has become unusable on my Windows computer. The program will open, but every time I open a PDF file, the program hangs and gives a "Not Responding" error. I then have to quit the program. This just started happening a couple of days ago. Prior to that, everything was okay. I haven't been able to get any work done for the last couple of days.

Please, does anyone have a suggested solution?

Version 10.1.8 SLOW and locks up Windows Explorer when attempting to select multiple files to open.

User contacted L1 Tech Support when browsing server & attempting to simply select multiple adobe pdf's.  Passed to Support level 2. Level 2 deemed was not server as they could recreate the issue on any machine running 10.1.8 by copying in question pdf's or a group of random others to a local machine & get the same result.

Other common observations, have latency when opening up pdf files via IE in ERP application.  Seems to be an issue with Adobe either versioning or inherent problems. ( have read through many "setting mod's & have verified "Starting in protected mode" is off ) any help or direction is much appreciated.  Next steps will be to open PDF's with another product.

Consistent results on 300+ machines some XP some W764bit.

Thanks!

Help resolving page blurring in 10.1.5

About two weeks ago I updated Acrobat X to version 10.1.5 and after doing so have begun experiencing a strange problem.  After opening a multi-page document which is at standard default settings and then clicking on the "fit to window width and enable scrolling" icon on the toolbar  there appears a significant blurring over the top left half of the page, divided diagonally from bottom left to top right, shortly after moving a few pages.

The worst blurring appears over that top left half, but the remainder of the page also begins to blur at an increasing rate when moving the pages again.  I've discovered that if I click the other resizing button "fit one full page to window" then clicking the other one again to return to the size I was at it eliminates the blurring for a few pages, but then reoccurs.  At this point I'm just dealing with the problem by clicking back and forth between those resizing buttons  because it's the easiest and quickest without interrupting what I'm doing.

Is this a bug, or are there setting changes which can address this without compromising image quality?  I have a PC running Windows 7 with an AMD eight core processor at 4gHz, 16GB of RAM, and a 1GB video card and have Adobe CS6.  I did not experience this blurring problem before the update, and do not experience it with any other imaging software or any other CS6 software. I've played around with the resolution and rendering settings in EDIT > PREFERENCES > PAGE DISPLAY but they do not resolve the problem.  A screenshot  is attached.  Thanks in advance for any help received.

I am installing Adobe Acrobat 9 Extended and Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard in  a Citrix environment.  The versions will be used by different people.  However, installing the application after one of the versions is installed, I receive an error that I have to uninstall the other version to avoid conflicts.   Is there any way I can get around this and install two versions of Acrobat 9?

Or so I thought.  When I look at Help > About all it says is Version 11.0.0

Anyway, having run the update Acrobat has blown all my customization.  Is there anyway to get all my settings back?

Installation problem Acrobat XI

Hello,

I try several times to install Acrobat pro XI. First I uninstall Acrobat 9.0 and delete old Acrobat keys, in the registry, with Adobe uninstall tools that I download from Adobe. My system is WinXP SP3.

I start the installation, aprox. 2 minutes later the installation stops and it looks like a rollback with the message that the programm can not be installed.

What can I do???
