I cannot install Adobe Acrobat DC on my brand new MacBook Pro. It keeps telling me that there was a problem installing. Below is the message I get when I click on more information.

 

Exit Code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW003, DW006 ...

I downloaded Ps, Ai and Id from creative cloud with no problem but acrobat will not install. I have tried many of the forum fixes that I have read but with no luck. How do I resolve this issue so I can use Acrobat? I can only see pdf's in preview. Please help!

I have a new MacBook Air (MacOS mojave version 10.14.6) and I also have Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (Version 11.0.23). I´m trying to install Acrobat XI on my laptop but all the time the installation crashes at the of the process.  I don´t have any issues with other programs. Any assistance would be appreciated! Volevo provare acrobat professional così mi sono iscritto, ho scaricato il software, lo disinstallato e mi sono cancellato.

Tutto bene?

No!!!

Dopo un mese e due giorni, il tempo per non poter più ricorrere e cancellare l'abbonamento, mi sono ritrovato sul conto Pay tal l'addebito del mese di luglio e agosto!!

Perché non hanno provveduto a recuperare i soldi subito, entro i 14 giorni in cui mi era possibile il recesso ???

Perché altrimenti non mi avrebbero fregato ed avrei potuto ricancellarmi, si perché lo avevo già fatto !!!

Adesso per annullare una cosa che non ho voluto e non ho usato devo pagare 91,44€!!!

Io sarò mona ad aver provato il loro programma ma questa è una truffa legalizzata!!!

Now I'll tell you what happened to me.

I wanted to try acrobat professional so I signed up, downloaded the software, uninstalled it and deleted myself.

Everything good?

No!!!

After a month and two days, the time for not being able to recur anymore and cancel the subscription, I found myself on the Pay account such as the debit of July and August !!

Why have they failed to recover the money immediately, within the 14 days in which withdrawal was possible ???

Because otherwise they would not have cheated me and I could have repelled myself, yes because I had already done it !!!

Now to cancel something I didn't want and didn't use I have to pay € 91.44 !!!

I will be mona to have tried their program but this is a legalized scam !!!

SHAME ADOBE!

A company like yours should not behave like this, these cunning are shameful.

I thought there was an Adobe update to Acrobat so it was 64bit and would run on Catalina?

I don't see the Send for Signature in the Adobe product that was purchased for me. When I researched it, others had the same issue, but I could not find how they resolved it. Can someone please help! I need this function for my job.

I just replaced my computer, and used to have Acrobat Pro X on it. I have serial numbers for both that and the Standard version. Unfortunately, my laptop has no disc drive. Previously, I was able to use a download link to install, but now I cannot find one - all I can see is links for the new version of Acrobat.

Hi,

I am using CS6 on Win8. Since today Acrobat X Pro won't open anymore. It worked until today. I shut my computer down and opened it again, but it still does nothing when double clicked on. The other programs (Indesign etc) work just fine.

 

Any ideas other reinstalling...?

I have a Toshiba, Windows 10 and have had Acrobat Pro XI for about three years.  Several months ago, I had this problem and someone in India (with Adobe) fixed it.  Then it happened again a couple of months ago, and someone (from Adobe support) in India said he fined it and added another program to it.  THAT caused me all kinds of trouble and I got rid of it.  NOW, I cannot get ANYONE FROM ADOBE TO HELP!!!!!  I guess they do not do phone support any more.  I am not very Techy, and I do need HELP!

I have "Show recently added apps" enabled for the Windows 10 Start menu. I noticed that "Notification Manager for Acrobat Reader" was recently added. How can I find out what this is? Searching Adobe turns up nothing.

Acrobat Icon Wrong in Windows 10 Start Menu

I have Acrobat X Pro on a new computer running Windows 10. Recently, I noticed that the Acrobat icon on my start menu changed to the Photoshop PS icon. When I click on it, it opens Acrobat, but it is the PS icon on the taskbar. When I go to the application's location in Windows Explorer, the .exe file has the correct Acrobat icon. If I create a desktop shortcut, the icon is also correct. When I pin either the shortcut or the .exe file to the start menu, however, it changes to the PS icon. When I right click and go to properties, the "change icon" button is grayed out.

 

While this does not appear to reflect any functionality issues, it is annoying and I am concerned it might be indicative of other issue. MalwareBytes scans turned up clean, but obviously I am also concerned with the possibility of a virus. I tried "Repair Acrobat Installation" as well, but no luck.

 

I am not sure if this is an Acrobat issue or a Windows 10 issue, since it seems to only happen with the start menu icon. The only possibility I can think of is that I had been researching some PDF manipulation software for a client's job. I don't know if that somehow changed the icon. I uninstalled the software and the icon is still wrong. I know there were issues with PDF symbols being changed to Firefox a while back, but the PDF files are fine. It is only the Acrobat software itself and only the start menu icon.

 

In any event, I want to rule out Acrobat before going on to looking into Windows 10 as the culprit.

The following error message appears every time I try to run the update.  The folder referenced does not exist so there is no way to "verify the file exists and you can access it"  O have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and get the same results.  It appears the update file being sent by Adobe is corrupt.  Suggestions???

I support users remotely, one of these users has requested Adobe Pro to be installed

 

I created their account

 

They received an e-mail, set-up their password and logged in to download Acrobat Pro

 

When Creative Cloud installs, it shows that Acrobat Pro is "up to date" (already installed?) However it is not installed and we are unable to re-install or un-install it.

 

We have restarted PC and re-installed Creative Cloud multiple times.

 

We have followed the articles to un-install, remove the files under \Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

 

Ran the cleanup tool from Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/au/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

 

All of which still say that Adobe DC is Up to date but cannot be used or uninstalled etc

I have a new lenovo yoga x1 .  I purchased adobe acrobat pro 2017 license with the machine purchase.  It did not install properly and although it shows in the installed apps , it will not run and will not modify, and only the uninstall option seems left.  Have installed adobe acrobat many times no problems.  Is it adobe or the lenovo yoga x1?

Adobe Acrobat DC Pro missing from Creative Cloud desktop application

Can you help me to install Adobe Acrobat DC when it is not listed in the CC desktop application?

 

As of now, when I veiew the available applications in the Adobe.com website, Acrobat DC is listed with Install.

Creative Cloud Desktop app lists all the products available to me (which should be everything) except for Acrobat which doesn't appear in the list.

If I click install in the website, it prompts the browser to open the Creative Cloud desktop app, which then does nothing (I imagine this is where Acrobat should begin installing).

 

I am trying to build a new machine with Windows 10 LTSC 1809. Previous build is LTSB 1607, which lists Acrobat DC and installs it just fine.

 

I have removed and reinstalled Creative Cloud desktop app, used the cleaner to get rid of all Adobe products (both cloud cleaner and cloud uninstaller), copied OOBE folder from Local Profile on a working machine.

 

I have tried to just download an installer (assuming the license will work later when it opens) but you cannot download the instakler - it always redirects to the CC desktop app. So I'm stuck. Only thing I think is different is the version of Windows (now LTSC 1809).

 

Apreciate whatever suggestions - I just need Acrobat DC installed - not really worried about how it gets on there.

Will not install.  Error is "Adobe Acrobat 2017 requires Internet Explorer 7.0" and installation fails.   I have spent hours on chat with support but they do not seem to be familiar with this error.   This computer has Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 11 installed; I tried disabling IE 11 and still no install.   It will install on other computers with same setup.

Has anyone seen this before?

Adobe Acrobat DC will not install on MacOS 10.14.6. I tried rebooting and re-downloading the installer file. I keep getting the following error:

how do I logout to Acrobat DC Pro?

I'm logged in with my personal account and need to login to Acrobat DC Pro with my work account. I can't figure out how to logout in the app so that I can login with the other account.

 

Every time I try it just takes me to the website. When I'm there I can log in and out of either account on the website, but it never effect that app installed on my Mac.

After reinstalling acrobat dc, i got this error-message:
IMSlib not found. Arcobat DC doesn't work.

 

the only solutions that seem to to work are for windows, but i run os x.

Apparently the first cases occurred as early as 2015 and there is still no easy solution to fix it.

 

i don't want to uninstall the complete acc, i need up to two days to set up photoshop, indesign and illustrator again.

Hi, I just paid to subscribe to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for the ability to edit PDFs. Every time I try to install, it tells me its already downloaded and will open my older Adobe Acrobat X Pro from my CS6. Do I need to completely uninstall this in order for it to work? When I click to edit from Acrobat Reader DC, it tells me I need to upgrade, even though I'm signed in to my account and it shows I've made this purchase. (The reason I even purchased this to begin with is bc my CS6 Acrobat Pro seems to have stopped working). Any advice appreciated!

"Adobe Acrobat.app" wants access to control "Systems Events.app". Allowing control will provide access to documents and data in "System Events.app", and to perform actions within the app.

Does anybody know what is causing this OS system (Mojave) window prompt on startup? I can't find anything online which makes me think it isn't legitimate.

 

I'm sure it's fine but it isn't clear what its purpose is and I'm not sure that I want acrobat to have access to system apps.

I have a problem installing Acrobat DC using creative cloud on windows 10, 64 bit. Whenever I try to install it I receive an error message saying "Installation failed, Errors encountered during installation. (7) Error code 7. By clicking on the learn more button, I see the following message: "

I tried the solution posted on the forum that recommended to log off the creative cloud and download Acrobat DC manually, it worked, but I`m unable to use many of the features like create, and combine and I´m getting the following message when I try to use any of them although I´m signed in "You are currently using free acrobat reader. It looks like you have an access to Adobe Acrobat DC subscription, which lets you create, convert, and edit PDFs. Click download now to start installing" when I do that I receive the error code above again. So What shall I do now because this thing is driving me crazy.

I have a copy of Acrobat 9 standard on my old laptop & would like to either add it to my new one, or if I have to remove it from the old one, that's fine. My problem is I don't have the sleeve for the CD. Is there a way to find my old activation code / license from the old computer so I can put it on this new one?

Are Adobe Acrobat Reader DC updates cumulative?

We're seeing a number of Adobe Acrobat Reader updates in SCCM that have not been downloaded and applied.  The APSB range from 19-02 thru 15-15, a total of 35 updates.  My question is:  Do we have to download and apply all 35 updates, or are the updates cumulative based?


My Acrobat Pro DC expired before the date of Nov. 18, 2019 I have nothing it says I have to purchase it again.

Does anyone know what I can do as my Acrobat Pro DC expired and I paid for a year and is not up until Nov. 18, 2019? I have recv'd no help from Adobe.  I have sent several E mails and no one responded.  My cell is being serviced so I can not be reached on it.  This is awful to pay so much  for a program for 1 year and have it say I have no account to do a trial before buying.

User Win10 Ent. Has been using Adobe DC w/o issue. Now when user launches adobe they get a white screen that pops up prior to the sign in page.

 

This is specific to the users profile.

 

Have done the following

 

Run Repair

Uninstall/Re-Install

Run Adobe Cleaner tool

 

The cleaner tool does not remove Adobe folders from ProgramFile (x86) or ProgramData

 

Created a new package from adobe admin center and ran that - same thing. Tried downloading adobe via Creative Cloud - same thing.

 

1 - the cleaner tool does not work. After running this tool and reinstalling adobe still has old settings (like recent files...) that it populates at launch.

Hi,

 

Cannot install Acrobat Pro DC on C drive (small SSD gobbled up by Windows) and Acrobat wont let me choose drive

When I try to install Acrobat Pro DC it exits with error message - not enough free space.

 

There is no possibility for me to leave up free space on C.

 

I would like to choose another location fo Acrobat Pro DC - how can this be done?

I have two Macs on Mojave.  One has Acrobat 11.0.23 and the 11.0.12.  I cannot seem to update the older version to the newer one - I've looked at the forum and see that is a common problem.   I get error 20142 and the answer seems to be to upgrade to Acrobat DC.

 

I have a full subscription to the Adobe suite, but I don't want DC.  I tried it once and hated it.  Does anyone know where I can download the last version of X!?

I don't see any entry in Task Manager -> Startup, and I don't see an Acrobat Reader preference item for updates.

 

I'm running Acrobat Reader V 2017.009 on Windows 10.

Adobe Acrobat Pro & Mac OSX 10.15 (Catalina)

Good evening,

 

I currently run on MacOS X 10.14.6 (Mojave). I intend to upgrade to OSX 10.15 Catalina.

 

I have been hearing that many programs might not run on 10.15. Does this include Acrobat Pro? I currently use Adobe Acrobat Pro X (10.0.0).

 

Is there an upgrade option for users of Pro X (10.0.0)

 

Can anyone kindly provide feedback?

Acrobat X Pro registration problem

I have Acrobat X Pro.  I recently had to upgrade my PC and when I tried to reinstall my licensed version of this product, I cannot get it to register.  As I have no need to upgrade to a subscription service, and I have a fully licensed version that works for me, how do I transfer my license from my old PC to my new PC so that my product will function?

Hi as title says i got the EX20 error while trying to install acrobat DC using the Creative Cloud installer. I have installed Photoshop, Illustrator etcwith no issues this is the only progrsm that won't install.

 

I am on Windows 10

I have been trying to install Acrobat DC (from Creative Cloud) and it always fails. I had no problem installing other apps from CC, even after the Acrobat DC installation failed, but for some reason, no matter how often I try, I cannot get Acrobat DC to install.

 

I have macOS Mojave (10.14.4), 16GB Memory, 170GB of disk space, Safari 12.1.

 

Can anyone help me? I've tried removing any other versions or installations of Acrobat via Adobe AcroCleanerTool - it doesn't find any.

 

I did purchase this computer from an individual who had some Adobe software, but I uninstalled it all. Since none of the other Creative Cloud apps have had trouble, I can't understand why Acrobat has trouble. I get the following errors:

 

Exit Code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW003, DW006 ...

Adobe Acrobat 2017 installation and activation madness

Has anyone had any luck installing Adobe Acrobat 2017 with just a license key and not having to activate with an Adobe ID?

 

I purchased the software for one of my users under my Adobe account.  Figured I got a license key, I would just enter the key and activate it.

 

But nooooo, Adobe kept asking for an Adobe ID sign-in and even if I entered mine I was told that I reached the max activations for the software (what?)

 

So I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Adobe support getting more and more enraged each time they would say, ok, now sign in with your Adobe ID.  I don't want to sign in, I just want to activate the software I purchased with a license key!

 

Finally after much frustration, support via remote session did something where they got it activated without signing in.

 

Two weeks later this user has come back to me saying Acrobat is asking him to sign in to activate the software and his trial is almost over.

 

At this point I am just about done with Adobe and will look for other, cheaper but easier to maintain solutions for PDF editing like Wondershare's PDFelement 6 Professional.  I am dreading calling support and going through this whole song and dance again.

 

Why is it so freakin' hard to install and activate a single, stand-alone instance of Acrobat Pro/2017/etc.?

Acrobat DC asking to reactivate subscription

Bonjour, j'ai une license complete, et acrobat DC me demande tout le temps de réactiver le logiciel malgré ma licence.

J'ai essayé l'outils de nettoyage adobe , désinstaller  et réinstaller plusieurs fois mais rien n'y fait cela ne fonctionne toujours pas, je suis restreint sur les fonctionnalités.

 

Quelqu'un aurait il la solution ou avez-vous déjà eu ce probleme ?

My customer just bought Acrobat Pro DC with the latest version 19.0, and they are not used to using this version. If the customers want to get the older version (for example 18.0 or 17.0), how many version can they downgrade? They can downgrade to any version that is available or it will be limited? And what is the step to down version?

 

Please help so I can support my customer.

Change Save As Dialog

I would like my save-as dialog box to default to the native windows dialog instead of the Adobe dialog.  I find the adobe dialog annoying as I rarely need a "recent" file and so I always end up clicking the "choose a different folder" button.  Is there a way to change the dialog?

Soda has taken over even when uninstalled

I got sucked into installing Soda. It is just short of a scam. I uninstalled it, including doing a detailed search to remove all references to Soda on my hard drive. However, when I right-click a PDF file in Windows File Explorer the drop-down menu only lists Soda for editing and printing. How can I make Adobe the default again? Thank you.
