I need to roll back a version of Acrobat to the previous one that actually works properly on OSX 10.13.6

I'm hoping someone can help.  I need to roll back a version of Acrobat, as Acrobat overrode the CC preferences for not doing automatic updates and hence has automatically updated to a version that doesn't work properly on OSX 10.13.6.  So I need to roll it back to the previous version that does work properly.  The CC app give the ability to install over versions of many CC apps - but not it seems for Acrobat.


Acrobat Pro DC - subscription is missing tools

I have a Creative Cloud subscription, and full EchoSign account tied up to the same Adobe account. I upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC, all tools were available to me for some three weeks, then one afternoon I may have been working on Acrobat DC preferences I may have turned off something or may be not, I realized shortly after that some three tools became missing from Acrobat, these tools and features related to Document Cloud services such as "Send & Track", "Fill & Sign", "Send for Signature".

Other missing features under the "Home" tab are "Document Cloud" and "Sent" both of which were there before. Now my account is the same and was not changed, so where did I go wrong, how is my Acrobat now shows perpetual tools rather than subscription ones?

Getting this error trying to reinstall Acrobat DC Pro:

 

 

I have looked at multiple threads here and have tried several of them with no luck. I have uninstalled, rebooted and used the cleaner for both Acrobat and Reader multiple times but it still will not install. It always stops responding and fails at 53%. Cant believe Adobe doesn't have real time support for their subscription customers as I need to get this operating ASAP.

acrobat dc, install missing font

A designer made a PDF for us using Open Sans font.  I can view the PDF fine, but when I try to edit text the font isn't available.  I've tried Optimize PDF using Preflight, and Print Production Preflight but neither seem to work ~ 'analyze & fix'.  How do i install missing fonts, and how is it possible that Acbrobat DC Pro doesn't have Open Sans pre-installed?

Acrobat DC Pro Install Error 1321 - Windows 2016

I have a windows 2016 server that is not joined to a domain. Office 365 is installed along with Chrome and Firefox browsers.

 

When installing the latest version of Acrobat DC from the creative cloud, the installer fails with "Error 1321. The installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\ActiveX\SelectPageRange.ocx

 

When I go to the path, the folder exists, but is empty. The owner is assigned as "SYSTEM"

 

I have gone to the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe" and changed the owner to be "Administrators", and replaced on entire path, verified that this took, and verified that "Administrators" has full control.

 

When I run the installer again, I see the folders fill with files until it reaches 77%, and then it rollsback the installation, with the error message above, and the owner has been changed to system again.

 

HELP!

Updated to Windows 10 and now Acrobat looks terrible

B4 I start, the forum says, "Acrobat Installation & Update Issues" however once I click on it it says, this is only for ''installing and updating issues.'' My question is not about installing/updating but it is an installation issue of a sort. Besides the fact that no other forum here exists so I have no choice but to ask my question here. I hope I am not wrong.

I've just upgraded to Windows 10 and pdf files look terrible- this is true for both my Adobe Acrobat CS 6 Pro and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Please note that I have no other problem reading text on any other software (or images) and that the same pdf reads well within my browser. can anyone help? (well this forum reads grey instead of black but this is perhaps a setting i have somewhere I would guess, if not please let me know this as well.)

We are having an issue with Adobe acrobat DC. We are able to launch the application as a user. We get the splash screen with the tour option. We close this and try to open a pdf document. The document opens and and after a few seconds, the application crashes with the following error -

I have looked online for information on this issue. I have tried a reg key to disable protected mode, creating folders in the c:\Users\username\appdata\local\ (forget the rest of the path). These are not protected documents. This started happening after the installation of adobe updates. Acrobat DC worked fine up until mid september, 2018.

Acrobat Std DC continuous edition crash

We buy a Acrobat STD DC continuous  edition, but it always pop up the below message, after we click the ok button, it shutdown the application.

The message is:

Your subscription entitles you to simplified Chinese product versions. Please verify the language settings in your OS, browser, and software download are set to simplified Chinese.

We try setting OS language to the settings it mentions above, and make sure we download the package from the adobe admin console is the right simple Chinese version, but the problem still exist. May I know any one help us?Thank you!Capture_adobeerr.JPG

I had some problems and uninstalled Acrobat Reader.  When I try to download and re-install it from the Adobe website, it gets to the end and says it hasn't been installed because I already have a newer version.  I don't have any version as I cannot open pdf's now.  Also, how can I have a later version than the one on the Adobe website?!  Any ideas?

Good morning,
I have a problem with the installation of acrobat pro 9, of which I own the serial. When I bought the product I had a Mac with Leopard on it, now I have a new Mac with X El Capitan operating system and I can not install either from CD or from istaller acrobat pro 9, how can I do?
Among other problems, I can not close the installation, that is I have to forcefully shut down the mac, because it tells me that acrobat does not close (both from CD and app downloaded)

My laptop broke down and had Adobe Pro 9 installed in it. Now I want to pass the software to my desktop but when I enter the activation key it tells me that the key is wrong.

Hallo liebes Forum,

 

ich habe folgendes Problem und bin leider weder durch Google noch durch das Forum wirklich zur Lösung gekommen.

 

Heute Morgen wollte mein Acrobat nicht mehr gehen. Ich habe es dann einmal in der CC App nach mehreren Versuchen deinstallieren können und versuche seither eine neue Installation. Ohne Erfolg. Zu meinem Erstaunen gibt es auch keine Möglichkeit zu diesem Thema jemanden bei Adobe telefonisch oder per Chat zu erreichen, lediglich über das Forum.

Ich habe Windows 7 und ein 64 Bit System.

 

Über die CC-App erhalte ich immer die Fehlermeldung "Installationsfehler" und bei weitere Informationen steht dann:

 

Exit Code: 7

Ich habe versucht Acrobat online runterzuladen und zu installieren. Da tüddelt es bis ca. 75% rum und dann kommt die Fehlermeldung: " The File "acroservicesupdater.exe" is not marked for installation.

 

Ich habe mehrere Hilfethmen gefunden wo es um das cleanen der Regisrty geht. Aber ich kann die Einträge (zumindest 1:1) nicht in meiner reg. finden. Ein Tool von Adobe Labs steht anscheinend nur für single-Programme zur Verfügung, aber eben nicht für Acrobat im Rahmen der Cloud.

 

Meine Vermutung ist, dass sich ggf. irgendwo irgendetwas verknuspelt hat und gelöscht werden möchte. Ich weiß nur nicht was ich jetzt tun kann/soll. Unser Firmeninterner IT-Support kann mir leider auch nicht helfen ("rufen Sie mal bei Adobe an...")

 

Von daher bin ich über jede Hilfe dankbar!

I've installed Acrobat XI on my new PC successfully. However, two Acrobat icons now appear on my desktop, the normal Acrobat icon & an 'Adobe Acrobat XI' folder with the Windows 10/Edge icon. All my pdf files now have the Edge icon and I have to 'open as'

All my pdf files now have the Edge icon and I have to 'open as' to get the normal 'Pro' functions. Two calls to the chat line have failed to solve this! (was told to go on the forums). Paul B

Acrobat X Pro for Mac not optimized for Mojave

I have Acrobat X Pro for Mac (10.1.16) - I keep getting a message saying it's not optimized for Mojave. What do I need to upgrade to? (I'd prefer a one-time purchase, not a subscription.)

I couldn't open a pdf file so i tried installing acrobat again but it told me i had the latest version, so i uninstalled the acrobat on my laptop (windows 7 ultimate) and then install the acrobat program again but the same message appears again
