Since my Adobe Reader updated I can't find some of my documents. It was so easy before "recent documents" were ones I had just downloaded then I could go to "all documents " where I could rename them. This is all done on my android phone as I don't have my computer at the moment. My question is "how do I get them back to the way it was or how do I retrieve my documents?
I am converting pst files from Outlook to pdf. During the conversion, the company logos (such as Facebook or Twitter) that appear in the emailer's "sign-off" are being added to the email as png attachments. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
I was operating Acrobat 7 Professional.
Adobe wanted me to upgrade to XI.
It has been a disaster.
Will not setup in English no mater how many times I re-install (including after I uninstall). So I can not even understand what the prompts are asking for. I have powered my way through only to find my serial number will not be accepted.
Any advice how to get out of this mess?
I have plugins that I need which don't work on DC. Is it possible to still run an earlier version and Acrobat DC at the same time? Or do I need to somehow downgrade to the previous version? And how do I do that with Creative Cloud?
I have Acrobat X that came with my CS6 suite. It will work fine for a few months but when a new update comes along it won't open at all. Even turned off updates and its still happening. I have gone through the process in your FAQ: Update errors for Window Acrobrat about 3 times now (Uninstall and reinstall from disk). Is there a patch that I can load to have this stop happening? I am pretty much frustrated that I have to do this every two months.
as stated in topic

concerning a hangup on win7 and Adobe Acrobat XI Standard
we use PhotoshopCS6 and InDesign CS2 and the XI Std Writer.
This worked well for 2months now (maybe related to a XI Reader installation) the XI Writer hang up and close after e.g.1min. no idea why
Deinstall of the reader and reinstall writer was not successfull. Some menu entrie texts are blank (german version) text doesnt appear???
So what could we do - repair the installation also failed !

I am stuck at 87% when downloading Acrobat Standard DC 2015 using the arvato download manager. Once it hits 87% it will hang and then start back at 0%. Is there a direct link I can use?
Hello, I have purchased a license of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Mac, Italian) but I can not install it. Error: failed installation, installer has encountered an error that prevented the installation. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.
When I want to print a pdf in Acrobat Pro 11.0.10 I got the warning (in dutch) "The document cannot be printed" and then "There are no pages selected for printing".
You understand that I have my printer selected (Acrobat sees the printer) and have selected the page.
But nothing happens...
When I open the same pdf in Acrobat Reader it prints immediately...!
I have deleted the program and installed again via CC but that did not help.
Can anyone help?
Thank,
Joost van Tol

Hello, Im having issues updating on mac os
You asked me to upgrade my Adobe Acrobat 9 when I logged on yesterday morning. So I did. After the upgrade, I could no longer PDF my documents and got error 1328 saying the system could no longer be modified by this patch. The Adobe web site recommended I uninstall and reinstall my Acrobat 9. But the reinstallation failed when I couldn't provide the ORIGINAL Adobe 6 serial number from 2006, even though I have upgraded twice since then.I have the proper serial numbers for the upgrades. What can I do to get an original installation serial number from 10 years ago? I really wish I hadn't accepted the upgrade advice because Ican't afford to buy a new system.
Hi,
After I updated from Acrobat Pro XI to Acrobat Pro DC I can't open any pdf-files within Internet Explorer 11.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
I keep getting an Internet Explorer Security message, "A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer - Adobe Reader and Acrobat Manager" obviously based on my browser security settings (medium ??). I only have Adobe Acrobat Pro XI installed on the computer. I keep checking "Do not show me the warning for this program again" and Don't Allow yet it keeps coming up every time I turn on the computer. Getting to be a pita. How to I disable these messages without reducing my security levels?
