Error 140000 on updating Acrobat

The only solution I can find is uninstall/reinstall.  Have done that.  Still get error 140000.  Vulnerabilities in password is a serious thing.  I would definitely like to keep up to date with patches.  No help available on this so far.

In November, 2018, when I was having difficulty updating my subscription Pro DC, the Tech removed an old version of Acrobat Pro for Mac and removed my subscribed version to Pro DC. NO reason. Not able to get an answer. No American help available. Tried to get answer last nght (2/26/19). Gave up. Tried today. Usual "not our department."

For personal reasons, I still had older versions of Acrobat and it seems that one of the older versions was causing the problem. Tech support was allowed to take over my computer. He removed one of the older versions, removed my subscribed version of Acrobat Pro DC and installed Acrobat Pro 2017. There have been no updates to 2017 version. here is my subscribed version DC?

Had to give up with going from one person to another last night. I did save the conversation. Answer please: Why, when I access Creative Cloud and click on Acrobat Pro DC do I end up opening a "fixed" Acrobat Pro 2017?

I am not "facing issue" other than what was installed ny tech does not appear to be what I am paying for. Why not???

This is service? I go back to the Adobe participation with Apple in the original laser writer, to Adobe Type Master, to my Home Page the opening web page for script for web pages. But no way to get American help after months.

error 1704 installation for Adobe Acrobat X Pro is suspended. When I tried to install pro 2017, it uninstalled X pro, but apparently did not complete the uninstall. now I cannot get past this error.

I am thinking about a personal subscription for DC Pro. I have had some in the past. Can I use it at work? Tricky part is: I am not an Admin on my Work computer so I cannot down load or install any applications? Are the applications truly cloud based? As in the actual application runs via a browser type service without any software installed on my local machine?

Cannot activate Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on new laptop

I am trying to transfer my license for Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 from my old laptop (Macbook Pro) to my new laptop (also Macbook Pro), and am getting an error that my license is invalid. I have already downloaded and installed the whole CS4 suite onto the new laptop and this license worked just fine to activate all my other Adobe CS4 products. I have tried figuring out how to first deactivate the license on my old laptop in case it's only possible to use it on one machine at a time, but can't find any information or options for how to deactivate it (there is no "deactivate" option on the help menu, which is what most documentation recommends).

 

I also just spent half an hour with a customer support agent on the online chat system who was only able to tell me that there's a dedicated forum team for this issue, so I'm hoping this is the right place to ask for help. Any help with either deactivating the Acrobat Pro 9 license on my old laptop or getting it to work on the new laptop would be much appreciated.

I have updated my Adobe Reader from Ver 11.0.2 to 11.0.20 and when I checked again for more updated It got downloaded but when I tried to install I am receiving below error.

 

Could anyone please suggest what will be the issue here. I had temporary disabled the Anti Virus but that doesn't help.

I buy a license for Adobe Acrobat Pro and follow all the steps to install it on my MAC but once it finishes installing and I select Launch Acrobat it opens Acrobat window but in the left lower corner it appears the legend EXPIRED BUY NOW in a red circle.

Why is this happening? I buy my license and I don't understand why does is says that.

Adobe scan saves scan from my iPhone in documentcloud. Can I access it from Adobe Acrobat DC on my MacBook?

I use Adobe Scan on my iPhone and it saves documents to documentcloud.adobe.com. Is there a way to access those pdfs directly using Adobe Acrobat DC from my Macbook?

I have a client with Adobe Acrobat DC 19.10.20064 on their PC and it is telling them "13 more days until expiration".

 

For the life of me, I cannot find any indication of what adobe account it is licensed under and think it may have been a former employee's personal account. Is there a way to find what account the product is licensed under so we can either renew it, or get a new license under a different account? At this point, I'm wondering if the path of least resistance is to just start a new subscription under our main account and ignore the other one.

I upgrade My MacBook Pro to a new one (mid-2018) and Acrobat Pro 2017 that I installed on my previous one does not activate on my new my Mac. I probably forget to desinstall on my previous Mac. The problem is that I erase everything on the old one.

I am installing Acrobat DC Pro on a new PC and would like to migrate the passwords that I have stored on the old PC (Same DC version software) for security envelopes. Is that possible, and, if so, how do I do that? I understand that I will need to de-activate the old PC installation before using the new installation.


After more than 15 attempts I am giving up on Adobe...I've reset my password multiple times...but no matter what I get the message that it's the wrong password. Time to find another product.

I have given up because Adobe refuses to accept my password....after multiple resets, it still won't let me sign in.

My annual subscription to Acrobat expired so I went on line and bought a new year for $12.99/mo.  Typically the download for these things is straightforward and simple.  I have no idea what went on here.  First some cloud related app downloaded and then I was sent an email to a link to download Acrobat DC which I clicked but nothing seemed to download despite the fact that it says its installed.  Plus I can't open PDFS.

 

There is also no way to contact anyone at adobe besides this forum hence the post.  Can anyone help?
