We have purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 permanent license, and we have used it for one and a half year. However, we found that the license is expired this 2 days. Just want to know how can we check our license's status or how can we fix the problem

Hello Forum members.

I have a Perpetiual Lincense of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (yes, paid for it !!).  Unfortunately when I loaded a Trail student version of Creartive Cloud  for do a TAFE Qld short course, the software is blocked from starting up after I finished the course and cancelled Creative Cloud.

 

How do I get to use my Adobe Acrobat Pro XI again.

 

Creative Cloud seems to be wanting to check my license but keeps whirring away.

 

I tried to delete Creative Cloud as per instructions but to no avail.

 

This has been going opn for months.

 

The software is important so I can use password protection to send sensitive information.

It forces me to send PDFs without password protection.

 

The way it seems to work feels a bit like a subscription ransomware to me.

 

I did eventually get onto some-one (from Adobe?) who said they would remote access onto my PC.

I did not want to take the risk. Not sAdobe staff.

 

All I want to do is to backup or edit information as a PDF, and to be able to use when in areas without Internet (yes they exist), or wihout using expensive data accounts..

 

It seems to me.

I buy a perpetual license on that basis.

It works.

I load trial software /student software for a short 6 week course .

When I finally do not need it for practice after the course I cancel the subscription.

The perpetual license software will not start up.

I go to contact some-one all avenues to communicate are blocked. State that it is notr supported.

 

What happened to use of my full license.

When did perpetual license stop being a perpetual license, with significant blocking of all avenues to resolve my issue.

 

I would like this fixed so I can access the software.,or a full refund to buy an alternative product that offers a perpetual license.

 

Have I missed any previous coverage of this issue which has the appearance of blocking all perpetual licenses and forcing people to buy a subscription license.

 

Is there an easy fix?

Hi,

 

I am trying to install a new CC 2019 suite package I built with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat DC. I trashed an installed CC 2018 installation by dragging it to the trash can. When I try to run the package, it gives me this error:

 

Adobe Acrobat

Found a higher version Adobe Acrobat in the installation location. Installation will terminate.

 

I manually downloaded and installed the Creative Cloud desktop app and tried installing Acrobat DC, which resulted in the same error, but this time gave a few more specifics. It showed two errors: DW003 and DW006.

 

I have tried using the Creative Cloud Uninstall Tool and also tried manually removing any and all files that were adobe related in the following locations:

  • user library preferences
  • user application support
  • other various locations suggested by Adobe in different clean uninstall articles

 

I'm not sure where the installer is looking for this higher version or where the installation location is that it is "finding" a newer version, because the previously installed version was 2018 and the attempted installation version is 2019.

 

How can I go about troubleshooting this to fix it? I am in a pinch and may just have to resort to a re-installation from scratch!

Suddenly my Adobe Acrobat DC Pro documents will not print or take forever to print.  All other programs print.  could I need an update?  My IT person suggested uninstalling/reinstalling but I have an annual renewable subscription.  How would I do this?

I recently updated to Acrobat Pro DC, and it installed without errors. But whenever I open a file (or just open the app), the app stays open for about 15 seconds and then just closes--without any error or message. I've reinstalled in twice to no avail.

While i am trying to install Adobe Acrobat 2017 Pro and Standard 17.011.30127 silently the update installation got failed with error "Fatal Error during Installation".

I have this issue in many machine while trying to install.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC would not install correctly on my windows machine. It would not display properly and would not print anything. Even after repeated tries by primary level Adobe technicians it would not display properly and it would not print... The solution appears below the recounting of my experience. Please note that I have an annual subscription to Creative Cloud all applications and all the applications I use installed well and work well.

 

Since I need to work with PDFs, and since I could not use Acrobat Pro DC, I had used, as a workaround, an old non-subscription version of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Then, in March of 2019, I started getting a notice that my software was illegal. Since I was paying for an annual subscription I was frustrated and angry but since the "illegal" notices could not be closed, I had to do something. So I called Adobe's tech support and handed my computer over to their technicians via screen and control sharing. The first session lasted more than an hour and a half and despite repeated uninstalls, registry tweaks, and re-installs, there were no positive results. But I was promised a call back the next day by a higher level technician... Sadly, that call never happened! So, approximately fifteen hours after my first long session, I called again and once again handed my computer over (screen and control sharing) to the Adobe technician. This time the call lasted forty minutes and again there were no positive results. But I was promised a call back within an hour from a higher level technician. And this time I got the call back. The higher level technician recognized the problem immediately. Some of the fonts required by Acrobat Pro DC had not loaded properly. The technician then sent me the fonts and I placed them in my font folder and Acrobat DC immediately started to work properly.

 

Why did it take so long to get to a higher level technician? Why did the lower level techs not know of this fix? It seemed like the higher level echnician was more than familiar with my problem so I assume the problem is not only mine which is why I have created this post.  Help is in the next paragraph.

 

All in all, I spent five-plus hours and considerable psychic energy on this problem (not to mention a sleepless night). To help others who may be encountering this difficulty and do not want to struggle for hours with Adobe's help system,, you can find the fonts at http://mizzentop.net/Acrobat_DC_Fonts Just put these fonts in your font folder and if your problem is the same as mine, Acrobat DC should be up and running.

All - uninstalled the CC subscription version to install the Acrobat 2017 desktop version, after a reboot it continuously asks me to login even after applying the correct serials for the desktop version...any ideas?

My Surface Pro crashed and I am attempting to reinstall CS6. All apps install fine - except for Acrobat Pro. Install fails and am shown a link to an error page ... and all I get is a "Page not Found". I tried installing on another Surface Pro and a Pavillion laptop ... same results. Next I tried installing CS3 .... same results. Lastly, I tried installing my unopened retail Acrobat 8 and I am given an "Invalid Serial Number" error. Any solutions?

My computer shows Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat DC installed. Do I only need one of the applications installed?

Im currently showing two applications installed, the Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Acrobat DC. Im running them on my MacBook Pro. Do I need both applications or is there some redundancy with having them?

Have all day to install Acrobat DC on my Mac with Mojave with a new SSD. All other CC app are working, but not Acrobat. Error 1.

Have uninstalled all CC apps and config files, and reinstalled several times. Even tried direct downloads of Reader and DC, but installation stops at 75%.

Even used CC Cleaner tool twice.

Please help!

This is garbage and wasting my time. I scripted a basic install for multiple machines and now your STUPID sign up is holding me up with requiring an email address. Thanks for wasting my time signing into multiple machines on MY SUNDAY so that the end-users have a functioning application that is licensed properly.

Hello, I bought a license for 25 € / month via apple app store. When I log in with adobe acrobat dc on desktop version (win 10) it does not work as a licensed product. Is the app store license not valid for desktop windows version? Thank you! K. Berger

I am a paying customer using Acrobat DC, which was working perfectly until two days ago.
When I went to my subscription page andre-downloaded it, It began installing, but then I got this error:

il sistema con l'ultimo agiornamento mi chiede di aggiornare acroba per continuare a poterlo utilizzare dai prossimi aggiornamenti di mc os

ma se esegua la procedura di aggiornemnto mi dice che acrobat è aggiornato......

E' veramnte l'ultima versione disponibile ???
